Return & Refund Policy

You are free to return goods to us at any time within the next 30 days from the date of their delivery to you.

For your item to be eligible for the return, they should be unused, show the original tags and the original packaging. This is a condition which also requires that you have a receipt or any other form of proof that you are the owner of the item, for which you are seeking warranty.

Because our designs are individually made by hand, any return unrelated to manufacturing quality will have 20% restocking fees for moissanite & 30% restocking fees for CVD jewelry items. The following fee is charged given the labor that is needed to resize and polish the piece upon its return. If the returned piece has to be washed or needs repairs (or in any manner that the piece cannot be sold again), we will charge more for the restocking fee, based on the amount of work that may be needed to restore the piece. 

 

Damages and issues 

Please examine the received item as soon as you receive it and report it to us if the item is defective, damaged or the wrong item was shipped, so that we can consider the problem and sort it out.

 

The following items can't be returned or exchanges 

 

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns or exchanges for:

 

  • Custom or personalized orders 
  • Eternity Bands made to order 
  • Items on Sale 
  • Items Purchased During a Sales Event 

 

If you would like to exchange, we will credit your original purchase in full towards a new order of equal or greater value. Please allow for some processing time as we make a new piece as stated on the product page. You need to reach out within 30 days of receiving the item. Credit is not valid on future purchases and limited to one exchange per item.

 

Message us before your return, so we can account for its travel! Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and we recommend that you insure your package to ensure delivery as if it is lost in the mail, items returned will not be credited.

Refunds 

You will be notified when we receive and approve your return. After that we will let you know if your return has been accepted. If so, we will refund the money to your original payment method. Refunds may take a few days to post back to your bank or credit card company.

 

Resizing 

If your ring does not fit, we offer free resizes. You just pay for shipping—you send the ring to us. 

 

Our current turnaround time for resizing requests is 1-2 weeks from when we receive your ring.

 

Ring sizing is not universal. We strongly recommend using our Perfect Fit Ring Sizer. It is a metal sizer and most all it is an ideal approach to discover that your adornments will fit superbly on the go. And once you have gotten your measurements, just make sure to return the Perfect Fit Sizer back and we will refund you for what your sizer is worth minus shipping. Order It Here.

 

We will inspect it while we have your ring to size. It's part of what we do, so when ordinary wear and tear happens over time, we will deal with it. We will send you an intake form if we have to do any work beyond that. And after your sign off, we will make the adjustments to re-perfect your ring.

 

Sometimes we will apply the original band and get you a same size ring instead of resizing it. Why?

  1. a) It was going to result in the development happening more quickly, or
  2. b) if implemented would interfere with the design integrity. Only bands of plain gold would apply for an exchange, none featuring gemstones. As with all of our work, the swapped ring would be completely bespoke. Naturally, we will also reach out to you if that is a course of action.

Clients are responsible for shipping costs both ways (and for international clients that includes customs fees).   

Please Note: If you chose the “Eternity Band” style option for your ring, resizing incurs a $100 fee (as opposed to our standard complimentary service). You will be required to email us to confirm your ring size before we can begin production on your piece.  

 

Information About Repairs 

If you require a fix please email support@ Biancachiara.com. Here are some important things before you do that, you should be aware of: how we execute repairs;

  • When an article comes into our repair center, it is written up by one of our specialists on an intake form in order to describe the condition we received and what work needs to be done. That intake form will always be sent to you, so that we all understand there is no settlement.
  • Then we go ahead and perform the warranty-covered work (without reaching out to you for approval). This could mean the next:
    •  Installation Of Stone Reset Or Replacement
    •  Replacing the setting
    •  Prong work or replacement
    •  Replacing Thinner Parts of belt 
    •  Resizing the ring
  • If you 1) do not want us to complete any or all of the above warranty work, or 2) would prefer a review and approval process by which we discuss with/order parts for your vehicle prior to completing that outlined in this letter then please let me know before returning material.
  • We will alert you of any maintenance items needed that the warranty doesn't cover. At that point you will have the ability to opt out of those repairs if desired.
  • Clients are responsible for shipping costs both ways. 
  • Your part will be repaired within 2-3 weeks from when we receive it
  • NOTE:
  • We only replace fresh stones; we can not promise to even exchange limited edition stones. If for any reason, the identical stone is not available we will contact you to get your approval on a suitable alternative.     We understand that things happen and fine jewelry is delicate. There are things you can do to take care of your jewelry. 

    But don't you fret if it does happen. Our pieces come with lifetime warranty. We stand by our work and take care of you, as well your jewelry.
